How to avoid WS-37397-9 and 80710016 errors. I have never faced the above issues for close to 5 years while using my PS3 and the issue cropped up when i got a PS4 Pro and simultaneously logged into the PSN on both the consoles. The issue cropped up the very next day and i had to contend with it for close to two months while trying out different things to rid myself of this vexing issue. I am happy to report that having my ISP change my IP address has resolved the issue for good and i have had no issues for more than a year.
PS: REMEMBER NOT TO SIMULTANEOUSLY LOG INTO PSN ON YOUR GAMING CONSOLE AND THE PS APP ON YOUR PHONE/TABLET/PC OR ELSE YOU WILL GET HIT WITH THESE ERROR CODES.
PSS: You need to contact your Internet provider and have them change your IP address only if you have a STATIC IP ADDRESS. If you have a DYNAMIC IP ADDRESS then all you need to do is turn off and turn on your router and your IP address will get changed.
